The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling protocol used for establishing sessions in an IP network. | Call Process |
The calls traverse networks using Internet Protocol (IP). This means that the calls are going over the Internet, which uses IP to transport the calls from one location to the other.
YOU routes the IP call to the Internet Telephony Provider's (ITSP-YOU) point of presence (POP) in the US, which in-turn connects to the Public Telephone system in the country, where the call is destined. YOU has a large connectivity to the ITSP in the US to ensure a near toll quality voice experience. |
